I was tasked with crafting a comprehensive visual identity for Waterways, including branding, logotype, typography, color palette, and copywriting. The objective was to create a cohesive, modern, and clean design that would convey their technical and scientific services to a niche audience, while resonating with possible clients such as regional/national governments, NGOs, and institutions.
One challenge I faced was effectively communicating Waterways' unique blend of technical expertise and environmental focus. I needed to find a way to visually express their commitment to hydrogeology research and innovation, as well as their emphasis on promoting communication and participatory management of water resources. Additionally, I had to design a responsive website that could showcase the company's information and projects to a diverse range of stakeholders.
I successfully developed a modern, clean, and simple visual identity for Waterways. The unique lettering weight in each logo element reflects the distinct geological identity of each location, while the earth-inspired color palette of greens, blues, and midtones conveys their environmental commitment. The responsive website design highlights the company's projects and services, showcasing their dedication to improving water resource management for clients and communities around the globe.
